To be eligible for the UPSC CMS 2024, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Nationality: Must be a citizen of India.
Age Limit: Must be between 18 and 29 years of age as on the last date of application. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates (SC/ST, OBC, PwD) as per government regulations.
Educational Qualification: Must possess an MBBS degree from a recognized university in India included in the 1st or 2nd Schedule of the Indian Medical Council (MCI)..

Qualification : UPSC CMS Qualification
Candidate should have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Examination.
(A)candidate who has either completed or is yet to complete the final M.B.B.S. Examination may also submit an application. However, their admission to the examination will be considered provisional until they provide evidence of passing both the written and practical components of the final M.B.B.S. Examination. This proof must be submitted along with the detailed application form to the Commission by candidates who qualify in the written examination. It is important that the proof of passing the requisite examination is issued no later than the closing date of the Detailed Application Form for the Combined Medical Services Examination, 2024.
(B) A candidate who has not yet finished the mandatory rotating internship is considered eligible for admission to the examination. However, upon selection, they will be appointed only after completing the compulsory rotating internship.
