Eligibility Criteria : PGCIL Engineer Trainee Recruitment 2023
To be eligible for the PGCIL Engineer Trainee Recruitment 2023, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualification: Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology from an accredited university in the applicable field of study.
Percentage of marks: Minimum 60% marks in aggregate for General and OBC candidates, and 55% marks for SC, ST, and PwD candidates.
Age Limit: Not more than 27 years as on the last date of application.The maximum age limit can be extended by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and by 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates.

Upon selection, candidates will enter a training period where they will receive a pay scale starting at Rs. 40,000/- with an annual increment of 3%, reaching up to 1,40,000/- (IDA). During this training period, they will also receive additional benefits, including House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Perks amounting to 12% of the basic pay. Upon successful completion of the training and regularization, candidates will be absorbed into the role of an Engineer in the E2 pay scale, starting at Rs. 50,000/- with an annual increment of 3%, reaching up to 1,60,000/- (IDA). Upon regularization, the comprehensive compensation package encompasses Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, various perquisites, and allowances following a cafeteria approach, Performance Related Pay, the option of Company Leased Accommodation or House Rent Allowance (HRA), reimbursement of monthly conveyance expenses, mobile and laptop facilities, Provident Fund (PF), Gratuity, Pension, Leave encashment, Group Insurance, Group Personal Accident Insurance, and medical facilities for both the employee and their dependents. |
